Texas Ebola patient dies, another may be infected
On the same day that Thomas Eric Duncan died of Ebola, an urgent care clinic in Frisco, Texas is reporting that another patient is exhibiting symptoms of the virus, reports Modern Healthcare.
If the man—reportedly an employee of the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department—is infected, it would mark the second transmission of the virus outside of Africa. The first was a nurse who contracted the virus in Spain.
