INDIANAPOLIS (December 5, 2016) Zotec Partners (Zotec), an industry leader in physician billing and practice management services for health systems and hospital-based physician groups, announces an exclusive revenue cycle management (RCM) agreement with Arizona-based Banner Urgent Care (BUC). BUC is comprised of 32 urgent care facilities within Banner Health, one of the largest, nonprofit health care systems in the country managing 29 acute-care hospitals, the Banner Health Network and Banner Medical Group, and also including skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers, outpatient surgery centers and an array of other services. Zotec is expanding its relationship with Banner Health In the new arrangement with BUC, in addition to entering a revenue cycle management partnership with Banner Anesthesiologists in Greeley, Colo. last year. In the new arrangement with BUC, Zotec will apply sophisticated RCM analytical support, automated claims management and patient experience methods for optimized revenue cycle performance across the group’s 32 urgent care centers. According to David J. Law, executive vice president of sales and marketing with Zotec, the company can help BUC meet the challenges associated with increasing high deductible health plans among today’s new patient-consumers. He says, “Zotec is a great fit for BUC because we offer patient experience methods that combine greater access to account information with consumer-driven analytical tools in the bill pay process.” Law notes that with tools such as mobile and text capabilities, online patient portals and auto-deduction from health savings accounts, patients have more options and flexibility in the process. He also adds that data and business intelligence is critical a factor in revenue cycle success, mentioning Zotec’s Comprehensive Zotec Analytical Reporting (CZAR) Technology. “With CZAR, physician groups are given business intelligence transparency and 24/7 access to their data, both of which are critical for success in high volume urgent care centers,” Mr. Law adds. Banner Health’s VP of Financial Operations and AZ West CFO, Patty Rhoden, states that Zotec’s strong commitment to personalized service was a large factor in the decision to move forward with RCM services for BUC. “Zotec has already demonstrated a commitment to quality service and responsiveness with Banner’s anesthesiology group, and those levels of service are absolutely necessary across a large health system,” she remarks. Ms. Rhoden goes on to say that growing numbers of consumers use urgent care centers for routine care and for care during hours when most doctors’ offices are closed, and Banner Urgent Care will give our customers more avenues to access Banner Health. “Zotec’s superior analytical tools and automated billing processes, paired with a strict attention to compliance, gives us confidence to financially manage our large system of 32 urgent care facilities,” she adds.Zotec is committed to the continual pursuit of excellence in the physician revenue cycle and practice management industry by delivering effective solutions through innovative technology, personalized service and measurable client results.
