CHIME launches $1M patient identification challenge

CHIME has launched its National Patient ID Challenge, a $1million crowdsourcing competition encouraging innovators to develop a private, accurate and safe solution for identifying patients. CHIME has teamed with HeroX, co-founded in 2013 by XPRIZE CEO Peter Diamandis, to run the year-long competition.

The recall includes specific lots of five different medical devices used to treat stroke and other neurovascular diseases.
